We offer sports and fitness programming for adults and youth. Our youth programs are instructional, fun and family centered. Our adult programs are varied and appeal to the beginner as well as the serious athlete. Some of our premier programs are our 1-on-1 volleyball coaching, NCVA Girl’s and Boy’s club volleyball, sport preparation program for ages 1-7, and our 7-12U “Volleytot” program. 1st String Athletics offers four categories of programs; youth volleyball/basketball, sports performance training, adult sports and fitness, and coach’s resources. Our coaches and trainers are among the best in the Peninsula and hold advanced degrees in teaching/coaching, with decades of experience. As a 501 (3)(c) non-profit organization we offer low-cost or at-cost sports and fitness programs 40%-50% less than our competitors. The 1st String Mission Our primary mission is to provide affordable/competitive sports programs to underprivileged youth in the bay area and assist local school districts in their endeavors to provide quality sports education programs. We offer aid in finding funding resources, consulting, and coaching training to help improve our local public athletic departments. We offer internships for local coaches who are interested in gaining work experience in coaching, and personal training.
